about tutti frutti productions

tutti frutti productions (formerly known as Axis Dance) was founded in 1991.  The company’s work is aimed specifically at family audiences (children over 3 and adults) for which it has built up a strong brand with a high quality product and excellent reputation. Whilst staying true to its core, tutti frutti developed to much acclaim a series of mid-scale theatre productions during its residency at the Lawrence Batley Theatre.  Since 2008 the company has been based at a primary school in Leeds, focusing its energy on exploring and developing its core activity of small-scale touring productions nationally and internationally as well as building its fruitful partnership with York Theatre Royal.

  • To work collaboratively with a broad range of theatre artists to push the artistic boundaries of the work.
  • To tour regionally, nationally and internationally to venues, rural settings and schools.
